• Some notes on local-first development

  I built Mochi [0] from the ground up to be local first. The architecture is built around pouchdb for the local database which syncs to and from a remote couchdb database. It's been a challenge to implement and in hindsight I wonder if it was even worth it. Unfortunately neither of these technologies are very widely used any more (if they ever were). • Buying an iPhone in Taiwan

  You can also get it online, Either from apple.com or Pchome or momo. Both are authorized online resellers of apple. I bought my both phone, One 3 years ago (form apple) and one just yesterday (from Pchome) and few of my friends have done the same and had no problems whatsoever till date. It usually arrives within 24hr in Taipei and major cities and maybe 2-3 days if you live somewhere remote. Source: 6 months ago
