  • Looking for feedback on an idea: A website where you can find a mentor in almost any field
I did this in programming field 7 years ago. Still working: https://mkdev.me/en Now expanding for b2b sector and EU market. If you like, send me a message and AMA. But honestly, this is my last project where I sell people for other people (sounds awful but it is what it is). Source: over 2 years ago
  • We released a 9 episodes web-series about making a product showing all steps from idea to launch.
So my partner from mkdev.me and I decided to make something fun and useful for our subscribers. My partner wrote a simple script to help his wife with her job, but lately we decided to make a full fledged product out of it and record all the steps while we are doing so. And the logs... - Source: dev.to / 7 months ago

  • GitHub Tutorial for Dummies?
For GitHub, I'll say just do basic things and most importantly learn about merging and creating branch checkout, etc. Try to work with a team where if you even push in main by mistake it won't be a blunder. Tutorials are good but I was at the same place once. Git was scary lol. There are some intermediate things like rebase etc. But you won't need most of it. Just go with theodinproject.com it'll be enough and try... Source: 12 months ago
