All of my teams are remote so I feel you. My favorite tool for this is Figjam but Miro is nearly as good. Everyone connects to a virtual board and puts stickies on the board. The software includes a timer and even voting tools that are easy to use and visual for everyone. I've been doing online tests for about 7 years now. I have most of my stuff on socrative.com. I can give multiple choice, true/false, multiple select, and short answer.
