   From chemist to desing

   for a very long time I put my artistic abilities a side and only focused on the texts. But today I see that science is not only about texts is also about transmiting the message the best way possible, and with amazing designs is one of the best ways to do that. • MBP user and Time Machine

  Take a look at Mountain. It can automatically unmount/mount disks on suspend/resume. I no longer need it with my current setup so haven’t used it in a couple years and it doesn’t look to have been updated in years so YMMV. Source: about 2 years ago

• I'm so sick and tired of the disconnect and reconnects (M1 Mac)

  I use a little utility app called Mountain. It can be set to "Unmount external volumes on sleep" and "Mount favorite servers on wake from sleep". I use it with USB and ethernet-connected devices and it has done exactly what I want. But I'm still on Catalina and have never used a Thunderbolt DAS. Mountain hasn't been updated in a few years, but it still works fine for me. Source: over 2 years ago
