You should check OpenSRS and Enom. As you mentioned this is your first project, I would highly recommend you to stay from this kind of things which would be hard sell. There are much smaller saas ideas that you can try to implement that has better demand. Building in Public will help you on this. Otherwise, if this is your first time trying to sell something, I would suggest you to pick a relatively smaller product and do that. In most cases, it's better to start with landing page, build waitlist, talk to users and then start working on MVP and market in parallel. I'd also add that I wish I had started building an audience earlier. It's invaluable to have a sounding board as well as people to get any new products in front of. At the time it felt too time-consuming, but now with tools like GummySearch for Reddit, Aware for LinkedIn, and an understanding of lists and targeting on Twitter, it really doesn't have to take long to create at least some semblance of an audience.
