I'd advise just starting off with a basic Wordpress/Woocommerce, just buy a decent theme and good hosting, the rest of the setup won't be that much more work than setting everything up on another platform, as you say it doesn't need to be perfect, just work. Does anyone have any experience of building a competitor price monitoring site like Prisync and Price2Spy? How would you go about doing this? Is it a case of building a custom scraper for each ecommerce site that you want to monitor, or is there a much more "simpler" way that will allow me to have access to a lot more sites?
