I'd advise just starting off with a basic Wordpress/Woocommerce, just buy a decent theme and good hosting, the rest of the setup won't be that much more work than setting everything up on another platform, as you say it doesn't need to be perfect, just work. It's their payment processing, the inspect browser tool pulls up a bad connection with their payment system (bigcommerce.com). It's some amateur hour shenanigans. Source: about 1 year ago
