I use brave, google (for technical subjects when I can't find answer with brave), and for anything that has a remote chance to be censored I use engines with their own crawlers : fireball.de, gigablast.com, yandex.com and other browsers to be sure but I don't think they have their own crawler : lycos.com, swisscows.com, mojeek.com, metager.de. Little trick I figured out a while ago, I answer Google Opinion Rewards every time I move around my city, which pays 10 to 75 cent on my google play balance and then can be used for youtube subscription.
