In my opinion, having been at this for over twenty years, learn HTML and CSS before you go diving into JavaScript and get those fundamentals down. People underestimate how much you can accomplish without any JavaScript at all. Once you get the hang of that, mess around with Mavo so you can get a feel for reactivity. Then learn JavaScript. But the risk is to go too far, and build something that really needs to be built at a lower layer in one of these tools.
