Apparently, the solutions of x2 + 3x - 4 = 0 are (1,-4) according to Udemy the tutorial I follow and mathway.com and even ChatGPT. So I assume this is the correct answer. Source: about 1 year ago
So I'm working on this problem and I was so sure it would be easy as it gets. T = 2π/ω = 2π/357. However, the book implies that's all I need to do. I tried doing it with radiance on my calculator and a decent online one mathway.com but I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong. The reason which made me curious in the first place was that I could not compile a document successfully which, however, was possible on my Windows machine where I have installed texlive using the online installer of tug.org. After a painful and long and painful investigation I finally installed texlive using the installer from tug.org and et-voila: it worked. Source: over 2 years ago

For a conversion to an e-book, it is possible to take a trip through (La)TeX and TeX4ht, or use Pandoc, which is pretty good at converting from Markdown to HTML (better than between, say, HTML and LaTeX).
