Managed DNS like NS1 or markmonitor come to mind. Full access to their dns records is needed either way. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Amazon will publish Blue Protocol
What about https://markmonitor.com/ tho? Amazon also uses this service for New World. Doesnt look like a service a random would use for a website without a use. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Domain and Registrar Security Considerations
Registry locks aren’t always easy to get applied to your domains. They add overhead that most retail registrars don’t want to deal with on top of the thousands of “I forgot my password” emails they already get. If you want to registry lock, you have two options. Your first option is to use an enterprise registrar like MarkMonitor or CSC. However, if you go to their websites, you’ll realize there aren’t straight... - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
  • Hold or HODL? exain.gamestop.com - potentially HUGE
I saw in the exain/fyblo video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XA1Mu080iNA at timestamp 3:00 it says onscreen 'Token EXN issuance'. I looked up token EXN and saw the official site was www.exchangen.com/ That didn't lead to a page, and when I tried exchange.com it didn't find any records? whois registrar is markmonitor.com How can this seemingly important domain not lead to anything? Anyway I wasted so much time... Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Ask HN: Seeing Problems with MarkMonitor?
Is anyone else having trouble with MarkMonitor this morning? Records for a site I have registered with them are failing to resolve, and their own site (https://markmonitor.com) was failing DNS lookup until a few minutes ago. I can't find anything on their Twitter or a public status page -- curious if anyone has more information -- thanks! - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago

Https://purelymail.com/ https://mxroute.com/ https://www.vfemail.net/ https://runbox.com/ I know this because I have spent time looking the past week for getting off Outlook.com. I've basically settled on Runbox.com as it seems to be the most established and stable. - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago

  • OpenBSD/ARM64 on Hetzner Cloud
After paying Vultr way too much for my personal toy OpenBSD hosting, let me share my host TinyKVM [1] as a happy customer. Obviously look at the terms, they clearly recommend not using it for any critical purposes. It's a service offered by RAM Host [2], based in Dallas. A bit out of the blue, I'll say that I'm also a happy customer of MXroute [3], which are also in Texas. I like these folk's no-nonsense approach.... - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago
  • Show HN: Dittofeed – 1-Click deploy, self-host Mailchimp alternative
Nice, I built an internal tool like this once. Love what you've got here. IME the next priority is supporting alternate providers to SG (and I see from the thread it's on your roadmap). Another option for the SMTP part is using an upstream mail provider perhaps https://mxroute.com/ works for folks. Oddly, I've had pretty good success with sending from my own Postfix+OpenDKIM based infrastructure for many years... - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago
