  • First 100k after two summers of super casual biking....some lessons learned
You can use tools like https://mapmyride.com to map out a ride ahead of time and it will show you the gradients (and lengths) of any hills. I usually do this anytime I'm looking at a new route. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Looking for a place to cycle
There are many bike-friendly roads and routes around the city. You can use strava.com or mapmyride.com to map a route. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Specific routes in my area
    2) Search ridewithgps.com, mapmyride.com, bikemap.net, and strava.com for routes in your area. These have many routes created by riders and organizations. I use ridewithgps.com. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Where can I find a grade map of Louisville roads?
Use mapmyride.com and plot the course you want to investigate. This site makes ride routes for bicycling and will provide you with grade information. I see a 13% grade on S. Birchwood right near Grinstead. Source: over 2 years ago
  • How can I get downtown from North York?
Mapmyride.com is your friend. I ride downtown from Bathurst/Steeles to lakeshore and usually take the TTC back because I'm lazy and then just ride back from Finch station all the time without riding on major streets. Source: about 3 years ago

  • What's your QS Stack?
So I have them like this:- Dashboard: Gyrosco.pe (planning on checking out Exist.io/Conjure.so/Bearable just to compare between them and see which one's best). I've got gyrosco.pe on a good deal so I thought I'd give it a try anyway. Source: 10 months ago
  • Tracking Apps
Hey guys, thinking of tracking wellness metrics such as sleep water intake etc to a dashboard/app. The main tools I have found are Exist.io, Gyrosco.pe, and conjure.so. For those of you who have tried them I would love to know what are the pros and cons with each one? Or if you have any better ones any help is greatly appreciated! Source: 11 months ago

  • Exist.io / Bearable.app Self Hosted Alternative
Https://gyrosco.pe may be something I expore but it's not self hosted either. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Oura + Apple Watch
Not to complicate things but I use an app called Gyroscope https://gyrosco.pe/ and it ingests data from both Apple Watch and the Oura Ring to give you a more holistic view. Also, this way if I’m not wearing one device I’m still getting data from the other. Also using Pillow with Apple Watch for sleep when I wear the watch to sleep. But overall, I do agree that there is quite a gap between how Apple Watch and Oura... Source: over 1 year ago
