I am client since 3 years now, and they recently updated the platform's User Interface, which I'm very happy with. I have a peace of mind, have integrated it for all of my business email accounts (for my employees, etc). Also private use. Also, its suite of tools is complete and fully convenient. Highly recommended!
No complaints or issues with Mailfence whatsoever, I have been switching between different google alternatives for the past year now, and so far I have stayed with Mailfence the longest. Hands down the best support system I have seen so far. Quick responses and really friendly.
As for features and design, they are still improving and adding things. One of the best things is that you dont need to download anything to take advantage of the end-to-end-encryption. At the moment I am really satisfied with how everything looks and feels. It's hard to say what the product will look like in say 2 years, but it's really nice seeing a product evolve like that and being part of the journey.
I started using Mailfence a while back i was a free user at first but soon i found out that was a bit limited then i subscribed to the Entry subscription just to see if it would make any difference. The value that I got was immense for just 2.50$/month I get IMAP support, tons of storage for files and emails. Support also is top-notch really helpful and always willing to help they reply within minutes. Overall I think it's a really cool alternative to Google's Gmail,g drive and G calendar.

I have activated the short domain (mf.me) , but I have a lot of email filters that filter my incoming mail by which alias they are using. I'm wondering if I have to reenter all of the aliases with the mf.me domain in my filters or whether the filtering system will automatically filter the incoming email regardless of which domain is used (mailfence.com or mf.me). Security, privacy, and anonymity are three concepts crucial to Mailfence. Our email suite has been designed to take all three into account, making it a unique solution. We also believe each of them should be a concern to you, even to varying degrees. But in some instances, they may overlap, and it can be tricky to distinguish them. What exactly is security? Privacy, and anonymity? How do they differ? And how... Source: over 1 year ago
So if Reddit takes these actions, the site will suffer no matter what. We're just calling attention to that and communicating before it's too late. I for one have been spending much more time on open source decentralized not-for-profit social media like the choices listed on https://switching.software -- if I'm going to contribute for free, it might as well be to something that respects me instead of acting like... There are already a few projects like this (i like switching software), maybe it's better to consolidate the efforts? (or at least provide I link to them like osgameclones). Source: about 1 year ago
You can also gradually shift away from these companies' services without completely turning your life upside down. For example, you could switch from Google Maps or Bing Maps to OpenStreetMap without having to change other things in your life. There are many alternatives to major proprietary apps and services in switching.software that you could gradually experiment with. Source: over 1 year ago
Add it to the list? https://ethical.net/resources/ https://switching.software/ https://www.privacytools.io/ https://degooglisons-internet.org/en/alternatives https://opensourcesoftwaredirectory.com/ I think if alternativeto.net just adds a setting to only view FLOSS alternatives maybe this genre of websites would be threatened. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
