If I'm not mistaken Owlcat is a part of the mail.ru company group, which is quite big, and you can't really go big in Russia without some consensus with authorities. There are live ok.ru streams of TV Asahi and TV Tokyo that are up maybe 80% of the time. The other networks (TBS,Fuji,NTV) have nuked their live streams so many times that there are no real usable streams. It's really a dick move on the part of these networks - there are Japanese viewers whose local affiliates don't carry certain shows, and they rely on these streams as much as we do.
