Get the official premiere online client, MTG Arena. You can start playing there for free and grind up a collection, and then decide from there where you want to go - more IRL casual stuff like Commander, more competitive play, limited play with sealed product, whatever. There are also various CCG engines out there, where people create plugins to support game rules, although I'm not sure which ones currently run on modern platforms. CCP originally released the digital cards for use with OCTGN which still exists but is Windows-only; and even if we found a copy of the old plugin to use, I don't think it'd be compatible with the current version.
