  • As a 56 year old lady who has never played video games, which one would be good to start with?
You can play Machinarium on pretty much any system, including the computer you already have. It's an atmospheric puzzle adventure game about a robot looking for his robot girlfriend in a strange landscape of disused, rusting machinery. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Games to play while nap trapped
How about some adventure games? Many of them don't require any fast response or timing. I suggest something like Machinarium. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Ken and Roberta Williams are Working on a VR game
It’s my dream to replay this game in VR, giving that they keep the atmosphere and art style (just turn to 3D for VR) it could be a very lovely world to experience in person. Source: over 2 years ago
  • I tried to make a drawing based on my first trip with psilocybin :)
Dont know why but that reminded me a lot of Machinarium. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Looking for nice, calming logic games to play
Machinarium || Trailer || Dekudeals || ITADeal || Demo Available! (Android only) - This is a short, beautiful game that I played when it came out on Android. • I have a dream; an open sourced Skyrim
Bethesda will likely never open source Skyrim, the game engine would need to be recreated from scratch. This has actually been done for Morrowind with the OpenMW project so it is quite possible it could be done for Skyrim as well. That said, Skyrim is a bit more complex than Morrowind in terms of what goes on under the hood so it would be a lot of effort by dedicated people which would take many years to... • morrowind should i play it? if so what mods should i install?
Morrowind was the first TES game I played so I am biased towards it but the main appeal for me was the unique world and lore the guild quests feel more realistic for example the first couple Mages Guild quests are finding local mushrooms and flowers, gameplay is a bit outdated the combat is based on hit percentages based on you and the enemies skill and stats and fatigue level, the main thing I recommend is using... • OpenMW: Open-source TES3: Morrowind reimplementation
For those that have a liking to the blog style project updates some other projects do, the main website is a good feed https://openmw.org/en/. - Source: Hacker News / 12 months ago
