In 2021, Lyfeguard's CEO, Gary Stewart, experienced a deeply personal challenge. The loss of two close friends was not only a period of grief but also of revelation. During this time, Gary was asked to assist their families in settling their estates. Confronted with the difficulty of locating essential documents in such emotional times, he realised this was a struggle many families face in their most vulnerable moments.

This experience led Gary to a critical question: "How would my own family cope in a similar situation?" He saw the need for a simpler, more compassionate approach in these tough times.

Lyfeguard emerged from this realisation. In our digital age, where being prepared should be easier, we often find it's not. Lyfeguard was created to change that – to make preparation straightforward and accessible, easing the burden during life's unexpected turns.
