Logisim is a nice FOSS software in this space as well. I've designed a CPU in it during COVID, which then became a never-finished breadboard project that stilll looks at me accusingly from some corner of my living room. Oh well. In addition to boolean logic, Logisim also includes more advanced components such as static RAM, as well as interesting things to drive with it, such as displays. It was developed for use... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
I am trying to define an xbps-src template for logisim-evolution, a Java app that requires Java 16. I am using depends="virtual?java-runtime" and, as expected by reading etc/defaults.virtual, OpenJDK 8 is used. Creating a etc/virtual file is ignored in .gitignore, so I guess it is made to be used with local packages. Using depends="virtual?java-runtime-17.0.5+7_1" works, as OpenJDK 17 provides that exact version... Source: over 2 years ago

According to Logisim it creates the correct sequence for full stepping on a bipolar configuration. Falstad's Circuit simulator is another one you might try. Source: over 2 years ago
Did you check logisim-evolution? It is an active fork of logisim maintained by several lecturers at the Bern University of Applied Sciences. Source: over 2 years ago
When I first opened the page, I thought this was just a knockoff of the "Digital Logic Sim" by Sebastian Lague [1], but watching the video, I was impressed by how much deeper this actually went. So I bought it! Hopefully I get some time in the near future to play around with it. 1: https://sebastian.itch.io/digital-logic-sim. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago

You are right, there are some problems😅 I got the idea from this program I know this has nothing to do with Factorio but I see some connection: in this program you are making electrical chips. Each chip has its inputs and outputs and then you can use the chip you make in other chips to make more complicated ones. It's kinda similar to factorio blueprints, they too, have inputs and outputs, and (theoretically with... Source: almost 2 years ago
