Is this throughput, or do you pay for Internet 500-700Mbps service? Do you live in an area close to neighbors? I would start with getting a Wifi Analyzer and run it on a laptop or desktop with Wifi and manually set a non-congested channel for your AP. I've not looked in to new apps in years, I still have access to the old free version of inSSIDer but I've also used Wifi Analyzer from farproc (Android only I believe). Cannot vouch for the quality or safety of either at this point. Source: almost 3 years ago
