As of 05 Nov 2022, https://muwire.com/ seems to have a certificate error, and no website is visible. Is there a backup website? Source: over 1 year ago
Now is a good time to get familiar with i2p (a fully encrypted private network layer) and all of the pirating possibilities it offers. Torrenting with i2psnark and direct p2p sharing with MuWire is already there. Several torrent clients have/are adding i2p compatibility as well, so snark isn't the only option. Hosting your own site on your own pc is incredibly simple too. Source: over 1 year ago

MuWire is actually I2P-based, it includes a whole I2P router and will use it: https://muwire.com/ and http://muwire.i2p. Source: over 1 year ago
Well there's a solution that can at least address problem #2. It's an application called MuWire and it's designed for anonymous P2P file sharing using (you guessed it)I2P. It's really easy to install on any OS and it doesn't take long to get familiar with it. Source: about 2 years ago
Holy shit it does. I'd forgot all about it lol. Source: about 1 year ago
I had to use a different one recently to get a hold of some live music for my dad that wasn't available literally anywhere else. It was called DC++. All of this "it's IRC + (X)DCC but different!" stuff reminds me so much of XKCD #927. Each one is sure their shit is the best, but there's 50 different options and none of them are compatible. 🙄. Is DC++ still a thing? Used to use it all the time to swap files with buddies privately. https://dcplusplus.sourceforge.io/. Source: about 2 years ago
One way I've used which has led to finding some favorites has been to search for existing artists I like via a DC++ type file sharing tool. Source: over 2 years ago
