I just found out about it yesterday, but doesn't that have some privacy issues, as you are literally giving permission to a third party service to track the songs you are listening to. I found some open source self-hostable alternatives like listenbrainz or libre.fm but I don't know how do they perform compared to the proprietary last.fm. Source: over 2 years ago

Next we go to SongShift Pro and setup our shift. You'll need to setup connectors with Apple Music and your second last.fm account, that it setup in libre.fm. Create a new playlist and choose last.fm as the source and choose 100 Recently Scrobbled, then Create new playlist on Apple Music to put these songs. Source: about 3 years ago

You should definitely give it a try. I'm a lifetime subscriber, but I'm 99% sure they offer a free tier. They have 50+ electronic channels, so something for everyone. Those are probably badly curated playlists. When I'm not on the mood to choose the songs, I try the trumpet channel on jazzradio.com or other similar radios. Source: almost 3 years ago

I'll add another vote for di.fm, great variety there. Totally worth the $60/year, because you can also access jazzradio.com and a bunch of other sites (for when you need a break from house). Source: almost 3 years ago
