  • JDK 21 Release Notes
Some options for those who prefer to avoid the Oracle minefield: https://adoptium.net https://aws.amazon.com/corretto https://www.azul.com/downloads https://bell-sw.com/pages/downloads Sadly, no-one has managed to package it yet, but we should get something in the next couple of days. Since 21 is an "LTS" release, major Linux distributions will provide a runtime pretty soon. Ubuntu backports them to old releases too. - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago

  • Where can I download JavaFX 11 or 17, or how do I get 18 to work on IntelliJ?
As an alternative you could use the full Liberica JDK which includes JavaFX. Versions 8, 11, 17, and 18 are available there. I personally kinda prefer this because JavaFX is integrated right into the full version package. Source: almost 2 years ago

Second thing is don't download a mod to reintroduce 1.8 pvp behavior. Just use the real 1.8 version. You'll have a much better experience since the 1.8 is much more lightweight meaning you'll get more FPS in general. It is also hypixel's native version meaning you'll have less delay between clicking and having a hit come through because hypixel's multi-version-plugin doesn't have to translate everything first. • anyone know why this is popping up and how to get rid of it? It’s like every 20 seconds :(
Looks like your Mac doesn’t have enough RAM to run Minecraft properly. What might help: use Badlion Client or any other launcher where you can limit RAM for Minecraft. The experience might be worse but maybe you can get rid of the popup. Source: about 2 years ago
  • [java] Ok so can anyone help me get Minecraft working I play on MacBook Air when i go to log into Java and I hit Microsoft it says something went wrong with the log in process I migrated my account I fully deleted Minecraft restarted my computer and nothing Is there any advice someone can give me
If you play vanilla a lot you can use MultiMC , if you like pvp you can use Lunar Client or Badlion Client . Source: over 2 years ago
  • Can badlion run on Mac m1 chip?
I believe so, https://client.badlion.net. Clicking on Mac Download it does say Intel so I do believe it should run, if you have any issues running it join the Badlion Discord for support :). Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Minecraft runs like shit for no reason
Minecraft is a surprisingly poorly optimised game. I have a GTX 1070 and an i7 10700k and without optifine I run at around 60fps max settings. I suggest installing the client Badlion: https://client.badlion.net/. It's known for boosting FPS and you have many different choices in boosting fps and such. Also if you want to increase FPS, I suggest turning off all animations. They can reduce FPS quite badly. Source: almost 3 years ago
