A SOC analyst role is not unrealistic if you are educated to masters level in computer science. It's tough to recommend specifically really without having more background on you personally, but there's lots of ways to get an education (learn real skills) for very cheap. I dropped out of university but got certified in salesforce . Courses are all free on https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/help, and the tests are only a few hundred dollars.
