Personally I'd just render through Voukoder which will likely complete. Try x264 for quality or a GPU-enabled mode (NVENC) if your drivers are new enough to work. Source: almost 1 year ago

If you want more consistent loading try NVENC through Voukoder. Expect about a 10% improvement. QSV works well too if you have an iGPU. Source: over 1 year ago
