SQL is an old, irregular language to work with, but it is better known than HCL and SQL already has it's own Pulumi/CDK in the form of every ORM with introspection (like Javascript's Prisma, Python's Django, Go's XO etc) and QueryBuilder (LINQ, Knex, etc) in whatever programming language you prefer. How does HN receive SQL builders in general? I feel like most of us agree ORMs are typically a bad idea. I feel like that almost instantly leaves the need for "something" to take its place. I've tried a few things, like installing vue slick carousel but I'm getting a type error that I can't seem to fix. Depending how confident you are with JQuery, and what page builder you’re using, you may be able to set up a Slick Slider or similar around the Cover Block and use multiple Cover Blocks as the slides. Source: 11 months ago

Years and years ago I used to use Malsup's jQuery Cycle plugin and then Cycle2 but these now seem long abandoned. I've also used both flexslider and slickslider but I'm wondering if there are better, more modern alternatives I could now be using instead to quickly create sliders or carousels.
