Dominion DMS Reviews

  1. DEALERSHIP PARTS DEPT

Dominion has more user friendly interaction and ease of switching from repair order to counter invoice with ease . Dealertrack easy to use as long as its a repair order. counter tickets can be a nightmare depending on the application. also in a fast-paced environment . This DMS can wreak havoc on your inventory. if not careful can easily add parts to inventory you never posted and remove parts from inventory just by simply looking at part on your screen, this causes problems if you have multiple countermen.

  • Ask HN: How to design database schema for usage based billing?
I know it feels like overkill, but I’d recommend either outsourcing (even Stripe has usage-based billing if you can keep your updates under 100/s) or using something off-the-shelf like https://killbill.io. I know it seems like a simple problem, but billing systems quickly turn into Eldridge horrors even if you have the best intentions and it’s always nicer to have someone else to maintain that for you. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
