I'm assuming you have put the SD card into a computer to see what's on it? The Tracker may be confused but the data may still be there. If you have both a PC and Mac available try putting it into both and see what shows up. As a retro tech enthusiast I beg of you not to trash them. Put them on facebook marketplace, craigslist, ebay, whatever. Nerds like me will take them off your hands happily, and regular people can still use them for daily tasks.
