• Just like every year the amazon PrimeDayDeals are a bloody lie. for example Samsung is 31% off... back to the price it WAS less than a month ago. Was primeday ever good? or was it always just fake?

  PSA: You can use a tool like Keepa to view historic prices of items on Amazon. It's a browser extension that injects into Amazon's website underneath the initial product listing. I often find a free shipping code on retailmenot.com Same with a lot of other stores. I've happened on coupons and ended up with unexpected discounts. There are a few coupon sites out there.   Protect yourself by first pulling your FICO score (go to MyFico and pull your own score, and you can get a coupon from retailmenot.com) and shop around. You can shop around for rates without a hard pull so you know how much car you can afford for the interest rate you would qualify for with that FICO.   I'm in Canada, too. Lands' End has fast shipping to Canada, and I've bought a lot of quality basics from them.
