  Ubuntu is one of the distro of Linux. I personally recommend KDE neon because it’s windows user friendly and has live cd available ie you can boot from usb drive and play around with it before you install it. KDE neon is using the same desktop user interface as steamos. Source: about 1 year ago

  I use KDE Neon OS on my laptop/workstation, and KDE Connect is a fantastic app that allows me to connect my phone and BOOX Tab Ultra to my computer. It’s a versatile app that can do a lot of things! It can do much more, but it does the following things very well: multimedia control (volume control, previous/next track, ...), share phone notifications (e.g. Reply to chat messages on laptop), share clipboard...   For Apple TV there is a new app called VPN Client Bee where I can upload openvpn configuration file from premiumize.me. Unfortunately I am not able to connect to vpn and I don't know why. • Buffering on some movies-nvidia shield pro & real debrid

  My mistake, real-debrid doesn't have a speedtest, premiumize.me does. But google kodi advancedsettings.xml and read about how to make it. It's just a text file with an .xml at the end. Pretty straight forward on how to make it. You can use any editor (I use notepad+ but you can use notepad.) I haven't had any buffering in years.   I no longer have premiumize.me, but I did have this issue with them once. The CDN I was on got flaky. I have been back with RD for over a year so I forget how you check. I think they have a speed test where you can check different CDNs like Cloudflare and others and different locations. Source: about 1 year ago

• Canadian here, with the Netflix crack down my mom and I were discussing my Plex server. For 1 year of Netflix with 1 sharing $412 (with tax)... we could instead get a 14TB HDD. (They had the 4k plan). Tempting.
