10 Surprising Pinterest Alternatives For Art and Design Inspiration
Of all the sites like Pinterest we’ll be discussing, Juxtapost is probably the biggest competition. It certainly is the largest platform and shares all the similar features with Pinterest. You can create categories and share them with specific people, collaborate on categories with other users and do all the same things like on Pinterest. Here’s what Juxtapost has that...
8 Pinterest Alternatives You May Not Know About
Juxtapost is a Pinterest knockoff but in a good way. It was originally conceived as a better version of Pinterest, filling in many of the holes that existed in Pinterest at the time: invite-only membership, a lack of private boards, exporting content, etc. After Pinterest caught up, Juxtapost lost a lot of its distinguishing features, but its community is still going strong.

  • Any website that allows me to see a zoomed in version of a painting so that I can see the actual texture of the paint?
In my experience it can be very difficult to get even decent scans of many paintings. I've had a bit of luck with wikiart.org on occasion. The ARC also has some serviceable images. Apparently you can pay for access to higher quality scans, which I haven't tried myself but it's an option. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Yo there! My friends like the colors, but don't get what they're looking at. Is it confusing? Feedback would be lovely~! ^u^
The other individual is tight that the lightning lends to the confusion; however, lightning creates depth and depth is only one way to present clarity. I would recommend heading over to a website like WikiArt then head to styles and browse art from 'Cubism' and 'Surrealism'. Line weight, line direction, implied lines, color contrast, and so forth are all ways that you can create clarity. I like that there's... Source: about 1 year ago
  • Evaelyn, Mobile Tactician
If you want art/artists that pushes the Magic boundaries a bit I'd recommend wikiart.org. You can look for art based on art movements and genre and find some cool people. If you find artists you really like there who are still alive, find their website and then you have a goldmine. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Something similar to Muzei on windows?
I like to use Muzei on my android device and get every day a new painting. Is there something like it for windows? I have tried an app called John’s Background Switcher for Windows, but I did find any rss to configure with that. I've seen that Muzei for android use wikiart.org publications. Is there some app to get the daily wikiart publications? Source: over 1 year ago
