There are several options for connecting to the VNC server. The one I chose was Jump Desktop since I'm on a Mac. Jump Desktop does cost money. Alternative VNC clients that are free (as in beer) you can use include:. - Source: dev.to / 23 days ago

  • Remote editing setups?
I'm gonna agree with /u/BobZelin here. Jump is the solution to this problem, and at a one time expense of $35 to connect to as many computers as you can install the Connect endpoint app on, it does the job, IF you have enough upstream bandwidth. Generally it's recommended to have 10-20Mbps per display. You can test this with the 14 day free trial from the website (just scroll down, it's in the "Downloads" drop-down). Source: over 2 years ago
  • Anyone like to recommend a Mac-to-Mac remote access tool or app?
I use Jump Desktop. There’s a one off fee for the Mac app and then it’s free. $35 from https://jumpdesktop.com or App Store. Works on Windows as well. Source: almost 3 years ago

So (also we are a non-profit, though it seems like most of these companies don't really give discounts) what is the software that has the closest to the ease of use and functionality of TeamViewer? • Teamviewer alternative
Not sure if I should post this here. I'm looking for an alternative to Teamviewer, I would prefer a free opensource alternative but doesn't have to be. I would like it to be just an executable that they click on and I'm connected. I have tried Anydesk, and Parsec but I have not been satisfied. I am yet to try UltraViewer, I have heard it’s good, and I am hoping it will work. Do you guys have any other suggestions? Source: about 3 years ago
