Cheerio is your ticket to the world of server-side magic, allowing you to manipulate HTML and XML documents with jQuery-like syntax. It’s perfect for web scraping, data extraction, or just making sense of the mess that is web content. With Cheerio, you get to play around with the DOM, use CSS selectors, and basically do all the cool things you'd do in the browser, but server-side. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago

React is great, yeah, absolutely no lies. Released on May 29 2013 and maintained by Facebook (coughs - “Meta”), it has grown to be the the most used JavaScript framework - or library 🌚, Suppressing Angular and kicking jQuery in the nuts. The standard way of building web apps has so far been defined by this superhuman framework and it’s been the most recommended framework for a long time, but what if it’s about to... - Source: dev.to / 9 months ago

Markdown has a far smaller learning curve than HTML and can easily be taught to non-tech-savvy writers. It depends on the requirements, but this might actually call for a headless CMS like Forestry.io or Contentful coupled with a Static Site Generator like Hugo. The CMS will manage users/permissions/data hierarchy and provide a simple frontend for users to add content, lay out pages, etc. And then when they save a change, the SSG will re-run and render everything to static HTML/CSS/JS. Contentful is a headless content management system (CMS). Headless simply means there is no front-end to display the content to the consumer. It's basically a database, but much easier to setup and maintain than a traditional relational database. Contentful provides a very easy-to-use API for fetching and managing content. They also support GraphQL queries if you're into that. - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
Contentful has become my favorite Headless CMS. I use it to generate static web pages, this blog, and storing other forms of data, such as user profiles. - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
