iSpring QuizMaker is an application for creating quizzes and tests that allows you to choose from a variety of questions types, add multimedia to questions and answers, provide students with feedback upon their answer choice, allow multiple attempts, limit test time, assign custom points and penalties, and even more. Fedora, in my eyes, seems to fit what you want to do; it has boatloads of documentation, it "just works" if you want it to with an easy installer.
