If Okular doesn’t get the job done for you, try https://johnfactotum.github.io/foliate/ or https://apps.kde.org/en-gb/arianna/. Of the two I’ve only used Foliate on a laptop, but they should also work on the Deck. Source: 12 months ago

Hey, good to hear. If you're also reading on a Linux laptop have a look at Foliate which is also a very good reader. If you set the epub/azw3/mobi default to open in Foliate then you can also open books from Calibre in Foliate. Source: about 2 years ago
