  • InstantOs is an `out of this world` distribution based on Arch
Instant OS is a very polished Arch distribution. It features it's own window manager called InstantWM which is a tiling as well as stacking window manager. I personally like to use vanilla arch but Endeavor and InstantOS are the only Arch based distributions I've liked so far. Source: over 2 years ago

  • Distro for a few years old cheap laptop
I think Arch-based distros like arch, arcolinux, archcraft or instantos are suite for your laptop. More over you can use void or gentoo if you are experienced user. Source: over 2 years ago
  • When connecting to any region from Linux, it ends up showing that you are connected to Austin, Texas.
Hello, thank you very much for the fast response time! 1) My exact version of linux is InstantOS (arch-based https://instantos.io/). 2) When connecting to that server, I get the following IP: https://i.imgur.com/5xxaGp6.png . 3) Same ting happens when using port 443, just with a different IP, as seen in the screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/TmZ9pL2.png . • Regolith Linux
I use Bunsenlabs, one of the successors of Crunchbang. (There are a couple others). You can use the vanilla version, built on top of debian, or add the repositories to devuan. [0]: https://bunsenlabs.org. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
  • Best Linux distro for early 2009 iMac?
I think that kind of computer needs something very lightweight, such as Bunsen Labs or Lubuntu. Source: almost 3 years ago
