I created the initial version of the example in Inkscape v1.3.2. It produces markup that uses context-stroke. Vector graphics editors tend to be on the leading edge when it comes to adoption of SVG markup. It is the browsers that lag more often. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago

All in this challenge was a journey for me, but things I really loved creating the project was understand how to set an encode SVG as background image. Funny how "in a browser" almost is supposed to be a feature... Is it? Guess it makes it instantly cross-platform. And since some are complaining about lack of tools, surprised no one mentioned https://tools.pdf24.org/en/creator yet, it's excellent, for Windows at least.
