I started looking for an alternative and haven't come across any free ones but several for $2.95 (like infotracer.com and bumper.com ). Carfax is $34.99, Autocheck $24.99, and Vinaudit $14.99. Source: over 1 year ago

I worked for 5 months, got into an argument with the manager and I was fired. I lied on the resume and said a year, because well it worked the first time. I got a call from a recruiter, and it's military top secret stuff. backgroundchecks.com says they interview your spouse, family, educators, previous employers, etc. I do not have a good relationship with my previous employers.
