I maintain https://grid.glideapps.com and the answer is... Yes you test everything as much as possible. Break things down into smaller testable components and then write tests around those. I have hundreds of unit tests, storybook stories, and end to end tests as well as full scale test projects to ensure we are compatible with most major tools.
