  For all my image processing I use Icy (http://icy.bioimageanalysis.org/) it doesn't seem to be that well known but it is free, has imageJ built into it, and I find it much easier and quicker than imageJ. It is really handy for z-stacks too, you can convert them to nice 3D images which I imagine might complement your mitochondrial shape data nicely. • What's the best way to build a site for a client using Wordpress?

  Should I get them to signup with a hosting service such as bluehost.com and get them to give me permissions to edit and make changes to the site, or should I get them to sign up with wordpress.com (not .org) and do the same thing, or, should I set up my own account with hostzinger.com or bluehost.com and manage the domain and hosting for them?
