iChooseTo mentions (1)

  • Story: It took me 7 years to learn how to be intentional (with my phone)
I'm the developer of iChooseTo (https://appsofuse.com/) for android and windows (similar to intention for chrome). I'm so interested in which your idea is! (I think I'm gonna sign up even if you don't tell what it is about). Source: about 3 years ago

Forest: Stay focused mentions (2)

  • How to be disciplined w/o getting burnt out?
For forcing myself to work, I use either the Forest app or LifeAt. With Forest, I commit kahit mga 30 minutes to sit down and work kahit ayaw ko by planting a little virtual tree. The tree or plant fully grows in your garden after the set tims, pero pag di mo natapos, medyo may pang-guilt trip na "You killed your tree" and wilted siya sa garden :(. Source: over 1 year ago
  • App to track writing progress?
I don't know of any specific app that does what you want but you can mix it up across platforms. I track all my writing time with Toggl Track's free plan and I use Google Sheets for word count. If you're looking for distraction blockers I'd recommend Forest for your web browser if you want something free, but if you're willing to pay for something more powerful I recommend Freedom or the even more restrictive...
