Given that this is an online platform and that they have to optimize the analysis, many scans will be done quickly, or "messed up", which means that an anti-virus on virustotal could not detect anything, whereas an anti-virus on a private computer would. Heh, I've been there as well a decade ago when switching from windows to macos. Far manager was also the first program I'd also install on any box.
