Depends what you mean by social media. Message boards and reddit are social media. Youtube is social media. Even classmates.com is social media. Was sure I could find marriage records for your mom and "Esrick", or at least "Crandall", but came up empty. There were a couple yearbooks online for her high school, she wasn't in the 1969 yearbook (was hoping she was a freshman and might be in it) and the other yearbooks were after when she would've graduated.
