If you love ACNH, you might want to give Hokko Life a chance. It's a very similar game to AC, with a few differences. One of the strongest suits for HL is the fact that it's focused on crafting furniture, and you get to decorate not only your own home, but your villager's homes, and the village. It's not really The Sims, but Staxel might be something close, with farming elements. What I liked about Staxel is the fact that you have to build everything yourself, including your neighbor's houses and decorate them to your liking. Source: over 1 year ago

Staxel - Staxel is a blocky graphic game, where you build your farm, and grow your entire village. If you wished you can do more from games that gives you already built villager houses, this game is more unique, because you have to build everything, including your villager's houses. My very first steps with Staxel, I bought the game years ago but never played it. It looks to be a 3d version of Stardew Valley, which is not a bad thing, imho. Staxel sold over 200,000 copies according to Steamspy. Source: almost 2 years ago
