HireVue mentions (2)

  • Are OA open internet?
Can I use the internet during online assessments to access stackoverflow/ online resources towards the coding question? To give context it was through hirevue.com and I wasn't in a call or anything. Srry if dumb question. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Going to publish a short recruitinghell inspired rant on interviewing, comments? Additions? Thoughts?
In the spirit of transparency, let’s name and shame Hirevue, who, in near comedic levels of villainy, collected biometric data without asking for permission (lawsuit #1). They then went even further and decided to make this biometric data account for up to 30% of the candidate’s score (lawsuit #2). I’ll include a quote from the second lawsuit:. • I can't access my schools website using the Tor network.
I tried it on the Firefox and Tor Browser on Whonix, same error pops up because it's using the Tor network? Is there any way I can bypass this error so I can visit my schools website, or another way to use the site anonymously? Site is Clever. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Learned helplessness
Mine also don't know what bookmarks are. So to get into Schoology, they type clever.com into the search bar - not the address bar - then log into it, then click the student page, then find Schoology, then click it. And the wifi in my part of the building sucks, so it takes them 5 minutes. Source: over 1 year ago
