  • Has anyone made a game in React
Yup, game similar to Geoguessr https://hideandseek.world/. Source: 10 months ago
  • What's this "Hide and Seek World" game? A Geoguessr Competitor?
Here's their website. Never heard of them until they followed me on Twitter a moment ago. Source: over 1 year ago
  • I made a simple quiz game for geography fans. In “World Streaks” you have to guess the country from 4 options based on random street photos. The goal is to get the longest streak without making a mistake. It’s free and you can download it on the App Store (link in the comments).
I know and I have been for a while with my other game: https://hideandseek.world/ Without competition, games would be pretty boring 😉. Source: over 1 year ago
  • This GeoGuessr alternative is the best in my opinion...
You have 2 game modes with 2 games every day to play (free account). One game mode is there you set your hiding spot and people need to guess it. Other one is to find the location that game has choosen. You have 30 seconds or 45 per round to guess it. Here I managed to find a location in 30 seconds... Hide and seek- https://hideandseek.world/. • Many are making fun of Americans for this. Conduct similar tests in other countries, you will get similar results
We sometimes did geography quizzes in high school, and those things were genuinely fun. You'd be given a continent and a week to memorize its countries, and you'd get bonus points if you could name the capitals. They were so fun that I still sometimes do geography quizzes on seterra.com. Source: about 2 years ago
