  • After my pillbox was filled wrong I had a week long overdose. A member recommended this- thank you so much!!! ♡♡♡
Hero - A dose of calm for the whole family (herohealth.com). Source: 11 months ago
  • Almost died. Filled my pillbox wrong w/double the Keppra for a week and zero lamictal.
Https://herohealth.com/ is the device I use. There are a couple of competitors I also looked into, but this one held most meds and had the best app, in my opinion. Source: 11 months ago
  • Help educate me…very concerned about my mom
Keep a close eye on her eating habits and food safety though because if she has dementia that will become an issue. Also if she's on any medication now, she will have trouble dosing it correctly. We used this for a while: https://herohealth.com/ but a normal pill dispenser filled up by you every week could also work. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Some life hacks if you have elderly parents who live alone.
I also suggest the Hero medicine dispenser. It’s a robot(ish) that holds up to 10 medications. You set the dispensing schedule on your phone. It makes a bunch of noise and sends a message to the person’s phone (maybe calls) to remind them to take their medication. You also can see how many pills they have remaining. The best part is that I know when my grandmother hasn’t taken her medicine. It messages me and I... Source: about 1 year ago
  • My mom wants her pills back.
Mom was overdosing dad and he ended up with hyponatremia (low sodium in the blood) that nearly killed him. Based on someone's suggestion here, we got a Hero pill dispenser. • Treatment recommendations please!!
You're welcome. Some meds do indeed interact and cannot be used together which is true so to make sure I always personally check the interactions checker over here which has been so helpful. Otherwise I wouldn't have even known grapefruit is a no go on this med! On said site you always can usually find the name of meds as trade names are so different all around the world. If it's not fetching there's always this... Source: about 1 year ago
  • Medications while traveling
When I run out of medications, I buy them locally. Although I cannot buy these medications at home over the counter, I am always able to buy them without a prescription in SEA (+ India and Sri Lanka). Use https://pillintrip.com/ to find which local medication is equivalent to yours. Source: over 1 year ago
