A couple of things that I have found helpful are doing jigsaws on jigsawexplorer.com and resonant breathing (not at the same time). There are resonant breathing apps that help you keep pace with longer exhales and shorter inhales. For me trying to match my breathing is a good distraction without the stress of TV.
