If you have insurance, you might want to try connecting through one of the agencies that act as a front end for private practitioners as they might be better at matching you to an available therapist. I don't know all of them, and many operate in only certain states, but a few of them are https://www.pathmentalhealth.com/ and https://growtherapy.com/.
