  • I'm so sick and tired of the disconnect and reconnects (M1 Mac)
    I use a little utility app called Mountain. It can be set to "Unmount external volumes on sleep" and "Mount favorite servers on wake from sleep". I use it with USB and ethernet-connected devices and it has done exactly what I want. But I'm still on Catalina and have never used a Thunderbolt DAS. Mountain hasn't been updated in a few years, but it still works fine for me. Source: over 2 years ago
