Questions and Answers

As answered by people managing Google Images and RedVilla.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

RedVilla's answer:

The project is built on WordPress & Woocommerce Frameworks but, it has a lot of custom codes to shape performance and data management. With the help of PHP, I have also made sure to secure the website from malpractices.

For cloud infrastructure, I chose AWS because it had interesting products and an easy interface. When it comes to scaling the website, the platform also comes up with cool products to experiment and grow.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

RedVilla's answer:

  • Kevin: Downloaded 10 & Bought 1 files
  • Aliyah: Downloaded 5 & Bought 1 files
  • Gastron: Downloaded 3 & Bought 1 files

What makes your product unique?

RedVilla's answer:

RedVilla is the only marketplace online that emphasizes uniting all digital products on one platform. With broad categorization, we would love to involve new types such as Ebooks, Online Files, Apps & games on our platform.

RedVilla is built with keeping open principles in mind. The data and information must be spread without any blockades or suppressions. Today RedVilla only has 10k image files, 1k video files, and 2k musical files. But, We aim to become the biggest database of digital files in the world.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

RedVilla's answer:

The main thing RedVilla offers is diversity and a broad range of digital products. Today, even if you go to video sections, you will find musical performances to inspiring stories by interesting people. In the Musical Section, you will find audiobooks to cool beats, Similarly, in the Image Section, you will find Cool Car Images to Historic Artifacts.

It is just the beginning but, I am very interested in exploring what lies ahead.

How would you describe your primary audience?

RedVilla's answer:

The Raw files are very essential for content creators & artists to generate their works. Since all of the video editors & advertisers today face problems of fragmentation. I believe having products such as RedVilla will be a no-brainer as it will help them with a lot of time being wasted whilst finding right digital products they need.

What's the story behind your product?

RedVilla's answer:

Nearly 2 years ago, I was watching a documentary about Amazon. Amazon is truly a pioneer in the creation of a marketplace for almost all kinds of physical products in existence. The e-commerce growth gave rise to many physical product marketplaces but, the Digital Product Industry remained fragmented.

That moment was pivotal for me to work on RedVilla and dream of building one of the world's biggest databases ever.

Go to Google Images then choose Search by Image (middle button) and paste in an image link. You get a few similar images, one says Dubai, which at least gives you the city. Then go to Google Maps, type in McCafe (there are a few) and start looking at Street Views for each location until you find it. Source: over 1 year ago
